It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Houston of Mount Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Eugene and June Frances Landes Hill; and her siblings, Larry Hill and Judy Weaver. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Houston of Mt. Sterling; her children, Brian Houston (Julie) of Mt. Sterling, Terry Houston (Susie) of Mt. Sterling and Susan Hester of Bowen; her grandchildren, Siera Houston, Lea Houston, Natalie Mixer (Colton), Grace Hester and Tristen Hester; her great grandchild Tatum; and her sisters, Sharon Taylor (Donald Lee) of Mendon, Linda Hill of Mt. Sterling and Mary Ann Perkin (Dana) of Fowler.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Brown County Against Cancer.
