She was predeceased by: her parents, Mazie Pearl (Lewis) and John Henry Embree; her husband John Wayne Reische of Hersman; her son Lyle Reische; her siblings, Ralph Embree (Carol), Russell Embree (Dorothy) and Betty Bessell (Fred); her sons-in-law, Jeff Parn (Pam) and Gene Kerker (Julie); and her great grandchild Gabriel Burnett.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Parn (Jeff) of Mt. Sterling, Julie Kerker (Gene), Rich Dieterle of Augusta, Mary Engel of Congerville and Anna Wilson (Josh) of Camp Point, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Sarah Burnett (Matt), Billy Parn, Jed Parn (Lynsey), Rusty Kerker (Kellie), Alisa Horton (Winston), Zach Reische, John "Christian" Engel (Mollie), Noah Engel, Olivia Koehl (Bryce), Lars Reische, Mya Reische, Aliza "Ali" Reische, Brock Wilson, Jayce Wilson, Arianna "Ari" Wilson and Mason Wilson; and her sisters, Norma McCallister (Lionel) and Linda Malcomson (Snooks). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Hersman Cemetery or the Mt. Sterling Church of the Nazarene.
