We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2025, at the age of 85, Ross Kelly of Mount Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross E. Kelly and Mabel E. Hardy Kelly; his stepfather Richard Wichern; his son Kevin Kelly; and his siblings, Ron Wichern, Dorothy Geschwandner and Lois Wilkes.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Kelly of Mt. Sterling; his children, Kristin Kelly of Mt. Sterling and Mike Johnson (Marcy) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Lance Kelly (Sarah), Caleb Kelly (Hannah), Bryce Johnson, T. J. Johnson, Cole Phillips (Kassidy), Austin Ray and Zaine Ray; his great grandchildren, Kayson, Daxlyn, Kashton, Kitlee, Laramie, Elliot and Leo; and his sisters, Fran Mann (Bill) of Lentner and Emilie Venverloth (George) of Quincy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at the Hersman Cemetery (99 925 E St, Mt Sterling, IL 62353).
Memorials are suggested to the Rolling Greens Golf Course or the charity of the donors choice.
