She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Johnston and Sharon Johnston (Parelius); and her husband Richard Porter. She is survived by: her children, Trisha Conner (Sequoia) of Mt. Sterling and Samuel Kidd (Jacqueline) of Springfield; her stepsons, Nate Porter (Melissa) of Springfield and Kyle Porter (Elizabeth) of Des Moines, Iowa; her sister Cheryl Johnston of Springfield, Illinois; her sister-in-law Debra Porter of Springfield, Illinois; her stepmother Billie Brown of Covington, Louisiana; and her stepbrothers, Chris Brown (Jeanna) of Covington and Nathan Brown (Adrienne) of Folsom, Louisiana. She is also survived by four nephews, one great-nephew; and one great-niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forever Home Feline Ranch or toward her grandchildren's college education.
