He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James and Marilyn Joan Root Behrends; and his siblings, Bob Behrends and Barb Christner. He is survived by: his children, Terri Olson (Ty) of Beardstown and Camden Behrends (Nadine) of Versailles, Illinois.; his sister Nancy Steinecke of Houston, Texas.; his grandchildren, Ande DeSollar (Beth), William DeSollar (Sydney), Alexis and Breah Behrends; and his great grandchildren, Kedzie, Salem DeSollar, Kyah, Junior and Zyah Rubio.
Memorials are suggested to Brown County Animal Rescue or Boy Scouts of America.
