She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Nichols and Thelma Nichols (Thompson); her husband Bob Hicks; her grandson Collin Hertenstein; and her sisters, Sharon Delaney and Patricia Clark.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Reynolds (Steve) of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Travis Hertenstein (April), Casey Crowell (Jason), Matt Reynolds (Zane) and Brittany Owens (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Carter, Keegan, Reese, Luxe and Jett; and her sister Darlene Fay Ziegler. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made in Arlene's honor to Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
