He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zachary and Virginia Dare Liles (Morrow); his daughter Maria Barrett; his brother Donald Liles; and his father-in-law Homer.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Alice Liles (Short); his son Bobby Glen Liles II (Martha) of Germany; his grandchildren, Richard of Howell, Harrison (Hannah) of Howell, Hayden of Howell, Liberty of Howell, Donovan Barrett of Howell, Peter of Lippstadt, Germany, Emma of Lippstadt, Germany and Paul Liles of Lippstadt, Germany; his son-in-law Rick Barrett of Howell, Michigan; and his sisters, Mary Lemay of Mount Vernon, Martha Peek of Tennessee and Nora Galigher (Carl) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Bobby's honor to West Side Baptist Church.
