Brenda Sue Cox Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Sue Cox of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Moore and Minnie Moore (Williams); her daughter Holly Lynn Cox; her siblings, Homer Lee Moore, Leon William Moore, Ronald Moore, Lavon Mae Owen and Nancy LeeAnn Fortenberry; and her siblings' children, Trish Williams, Mickeal Owen and Stevie Mathis.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Cindy Owen Kuhnert, Rhonda Schneider (Peter), Crystal Wright, Dana Modglin and Randy Moore (Robin); her sister Bernice Ann Mathis (Max); her sister-in-law Donna Moore; her grandchildren, Amber LeConte, David LeConte, Jr., Blake LeConte and Skyler Cox; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Blake, Ayden, Jayxtn, Holland, Amber Lyn and Greyson.
Memorial donations may be made to the Perry County Humane Society.
