She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Pope and Dorothy Pope (Deisher); her husband Harold Carpenter; and her in-laws, John and Margaret Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Hamlin (Shannon) of Mt. Vernon, IL., Matthew Carpenter of Dupo, IL. and Nathan Carpenter of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Levi and Kenzie Hamlin; her great grandchild Leah Hamlin; her siblings, Dena Moore (Russell), Tom Pope (Debbie) and Jim Pope (Sherry); and her siblings-in-law, Joy Wilkerson, Betty Oldham (John), Mabel Smith and Bob Carpenter.
