With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale L Youngblood of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Fairfield, Illinois, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Dale departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dale. Though Dale may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his father Perry Dale Youngblood; and his brother Don Youngblood. He is survived by : his mother Norma Jean Youngblood (Richards) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his siblings, Larry Youngblood of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Linda Smith of Keenes, Illinois; and his niece Sheree Youngblood of Arkansas. He is also survived by nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Memorials may be made in Dale's honor to Ten Post Oak Baptist Church or Ten Post Oak Cemetery.
