He is survived by: his sister Julia Finnie Maumelle (Rice); his brother-in-law Jack; his brother John Rice of Carbondale, Colorado.; his wife Karyl Rice (Way); his children, Elizabeth (Rice), Loyd (Michael Loyd) and Erin Rice-Fields (Hazel Rice-Fields); and his granddaughter Sophia (Loyd) Payne (Jaeden Payne).
