She was predeceased by : her parents, Terry Douglas and Anna Joyce Hammons, Sr. (Jones). She is survived by : her children, Phillip Hamerski (Veronica) of Chicago, Dalton Beck of Mt. Vernon and Savannah Beck (Jacob Peyton) of Napa Valley, California; her siblings, Sherry Johnson (Chris) of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Chad Hammons of Chesterfield and Terry Hammons II of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and her grandson Paxton Bo Hamerski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Dana's honor to SSM Health at Home Hospice.
