He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Herbert Dare and Nina Mae Dare (Black). He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Dare (Dale); his children, Teresa Dare Rawlings (Mitchell) and Earl Herbert Dare III (Deidre); his grandchildren, Jamie Dare-Ryckman (Nicholas) and Nick Earl Dare; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Mae Ryckman and Harrison Dare Ryckman.
Memorials may be made in Herb's honor to Jefferson County Historical Society and will be accepted at the funeral home at any time.
