She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Lewis and Irene "Rena" Lewis (Finn). She is survived by : her sisters, Mary Ruth Glenn and Georgia Lee (Delbert Moss); her children, Larry Williams (Marsha) of Santa Rosa, Janette Dorris of West Frankfort, Dale E. Williams, Dell Hill of Troy and Wanda Ward of Centralia, Illinois; her grandchildren, Heather Williams, John Ryan Dorris (Camille), Todd Dorris, Samantha Shumate (Bryan), Wesley Williams (Beth), Eric Williams (Nikki), Travis Ward, Trisha Mosbarger (Ivan) and Timothy Ward; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Emma Dorris, Bryson, Brock Dorris, Nolyn, Hayes Shumate, Zach (Samantha Ashby), Macy, Libby Williams, Evan, Nora Williams, Jayton, Jonah Ward, Mays Mosbarger, Jaxon and Gia Ward.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newell Funeral Home (601 S 42nd St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Earlene's honor to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
