It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elaine Hanson of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 76, on June 10, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Miley and Eula Jane Williams (Goolsby); her husband James E. Hanson; her brother William Andrew Williams; and her stepgrandson Aaron Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel James Hanson of Mount Vernon and Rebecca Reed (Allan) of Texico, Illinois; her grandchildren, Savannah Ann Hanson of Mount Vernon and Tylar Breighann Warner (Travis) of Mount Vernon; her great grandchildren, Aliannah Hicks, Zayden Hicks, Paisley Warner and Blakely Warner; and her siblings, Barbara Jean Vickroy of Nashville, Debra Jane Hampton of Tracey City, Tennessee and James Miley Williams, Jr. (Janice) of Athens, Alabama. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens Chapel (6449 IL-15, Woodlawn, IL 62898). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Elaine's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
