He is survived by: his father Charles Moore of Woodland; his wife First Lady Carmen Moore; his children, Garry Moore, Jr. (Natasha) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Sophia Moore of Mt. Vernon, Anivea Blalock (Terrance) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Willie Meredith; his niece Rosa Delgado; his grandchildren, Bryce Hunter, Zhaaqil Jones, Torean Moore, Zhakira Jones, Sanae Moore, A'deson Jones, Jamia Moore, Jaliah Moore, Damani Cayce, Adelajah Moore, Elijah, Ta'Aurie Miller and Jaljah Moore (Aunajae Moore); his great grandchildren, Kalani Dunson-Moore, Trulei Baker and Zyalani Jones; his siblings, Joyce Moore, Marilyn Shipp-Gary, Darlene Moore, Aletha Thomas, Tammy Thomas, Nichole Hollenkamp, Maurice Moore, Harvey Webb and Timothy Moore; and his brother-in-law Minister Emerson Henderson (Janice).

In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family asks that monetary donations be made to assist the First Lady Carmen Moore with expenses and her next journey.
