She is survived by: her children, Melody Hellsten (Joe) of Humble, TX, Jo Lynn Lamczyk (Kevin) of Mount Vernon, IL and Michael Brown (Shari) of Harrison, OH; her grandchildren, Deztanie Hellsten of Humble, TX, Joseph Hellsten of Humble, TX, Bennett Lamczyk of St. Louis, MO, Michaela Burandt (Ross) of Eldridge, IA, Matthew Lamczyk (Micah Penrod) of Mt. Vernon, IL, Anna Lamczyk of Irmo, SC, Ryan Brown (Kristen) of Harrison, OH and Connor Brown of Cincinnati, OH; her great grandchildren, Emelyn Brown and Luke Brown; and her siblings, Albert "Danny" Orwig (Kathy) of Woodbridge, VA and Loretta Berg of Aledo, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Janet 's honor to her family, care of her daughter, Jo Lynn Lamczyk.
