We announce the death of Jimmie T. Peeples of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 90. Jimmie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett E. Peeples and Madelyn Peeples (Dye Vonderheid); and his wife Nancy Peeples (Williams). He is survived by: his sons, Steven N. Peeples (Patti) of Mount Vernon and Scott A. Peeples (Beth) of Fults, Illinois; his grandchildren, Lucas Peeples (Brittany), Alexandria McManus (Paul), Gary Peeples (Rachel), Jared Warren, Amanda Barnett (Jeff) and Nick Warren (Amy); his great grandchildren, Penelope Peeples, Heidi Peeples, Louise McManus, Howard Peeples, James Peeples, Ashtyn Warren, Aryka Warren, Emberly Peeples and Spencer Barnett; and his brother Jerry Peeples (Rhonda) of Keenes, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
