She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Minter and Daisy Minter; her former husband Robert "Bob" Blackford; her husband Robert Wilkes; and her stepmother Jewel Minter.

She is survived by: her sons, Greg Blackford (Angie) of Mount Vernon and Devin Wilkes of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Clay Blackford (Ashley), Logan Blackford (Katie Phillips) and Dylan Blackford (Emily); her great grandchildren, Hayden and Parker Blackford; her sister Verna Locke (Gary); her nephews, Mike Locke (Amanda) and Marcus Locke; and her niece Jennifer Dobson (Brad).
