He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. Bruns and Betty Bruns (McClure); his son Jeremiah Bruns (Angela Sue Bruns); and his great grandchild Jamay Lynn Bruns. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Bruns (Bradford); his children, Christopher Bruns (Sandy) of Winter Haven, Anthony Bruns, Ryan Bruns (Robin Roth) of Mount Vernon, Annah Waggoner (Alan) of Effingham, Kamille Bruns and Stephen Damron; and his siblings, Clyde Wesley Bruns, Russell Bruns, Jr., Kathie Hoffman, Pam Hiatt (John), Juanita Clements and Teresa Pfister. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren.
