He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Jennings and Helen Doris Hicks (Rowland); and his brother Ricky Lynn Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Hicks of Mount Vernon and Brianna Prince of Woodlawn, Illinois; his close friend Sheila Lambrich of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Maverick, Mason, Kelsey, Shelby and Elisabeth; and his brother Wayne Hicks (Patti) of Mount Vernon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Larry's honor to the charity of the donor's choice.
