Linda Capps Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Capps of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Reid and Raymond Reid; her daughter Brenda Capps; and her siblings, Sharon Silliman, Carol Cole, Richard Reid and Larry Reid.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Ray Capps; her children, Cheryl (David Johnson), Mark (Donna Capps), Barbara (Kerry Richardson), Steven (Leslie Capps) and Eric (Natalie Capps); and her sister Jeanetta (Frank Wangler). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made in Linda's honor to the charity of the donor's choice.
