She is survived by: her mother Modesta Nabua; her husband Paul Syxiengmay; her siblings, Roy Nabua (Cecile), Jessica Vargas (Romar) and Darlin Wells (Chris); her nieces and nephews, Paul, Wayne, Paula, Isabela and Sophia; her godparents, Alice and Steve Martin; and her pets, Charlie, Iggy and Izzy. She is also survived by many relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (1550 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A Mass was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Madona's honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the American Cancer Society, or the Jefferson County Animal Shelter in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
