Elliott; his parent Emerald Elliott; his siblings, Dawsey Elliott, Donald Elliott, Dennis Elliott, Max Elliott, Dolores Elliott Johnson and Della Elliott Justice; his in-laws, Harry and Hazel Warner; his siblings-in-law, Charles Tate, Harry Tracy Johnson, Bill Mosher, Stewart Randy Warner, George Justice and Dorothy Elliott (Dottie); and his nieces, Georgia Mae Justice, Melissa Alvis Helms, Casey Johnson, Brenda Tate McGhee, Carol Tate Keele, Linda Rader Doss and Christy Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Elliott; his children, Marcie R. Cates (Tony) of Mt. Vernon and Bryson D. Elliott of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Salina Cates Cole of Mt. Vernon, Travis Cole of Mt. Vernon, Sadie Cates of Mt. Vernon and Silas Cates of Mt. Vernon; his great grandchildren, Laurel Rayne Cole and Lincoln Elliott Cole of Mt. Vernon; and his sisters, Dorothy Elliott Tate and Linda Lou Elliott Mosher.
