He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Nowland and Dell Nowland (Frick); his wife Marilyn Nowland (Someski); his son Dale Nowland; and his siblings, Gordon Nowland, Frank Nowland and Helen Trader.
He is survived by: his sons, Gale Nowland (Charlet) of Waltonville, Randy Nowland (Marsha) of Waltonville and Rick Nowland (Carolyn) of Scheller, Illinois; and his daughter-in-law Marcena Williams of Waltonville. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
