He is survived by: his mother Lillie Tackitt; his daughter Alizabeth Willis (Brody) of Mount Vernon; his granddaughters, Penelope Willis and Lillian Tackitt; and his siblings, Robyn Morgan, Susan Arnett, Steve Tackitt and Ann Tackitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
