She is survived by: her husband Carl Elwood Galiher; her sisters, Martha Peek of Lebanon, TN, Mary Lemay of Mt. Vernon, IL., Cynthia Marie Eckels (Moore) of Scottsdale Arizona and Lisa Renee Smith (Larry) of Florence Alabama; her grandchildren, Zachary Benefield (Jean), Matthew Smith, Tiah Jett (Darren), Candice, Alexis, Erica Schnicker, Graci Craig and Gabriella Karch; her great grandchildren, Trenton Johnson, Lukas White, Riley Rainey, Landon White, Logan White, Raelynn Carpenter, Madalyn Garman, Raiden Joslin, Avalon Joslin and Alaina Fugate; and her granddaughter Christian Outreach.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hughey Funeral Home - West Chapel (601 S 42nd St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made in Nora's honor to the Mount Vernon Rescue Mission.
