She is survived by: her mother Joyce Merkel (Rhine) of Sesser; her daughters, Kassie Stroud of Maryland, Ashley Stroud of St. Louis and Alexis Klenke (Joel) of Union; her stepchildren, Jessica LeVault of Jackson, TN, Garrett LeVault (Molly) of Jackson, TN. and Colin LeVault of Jackson, TN.; and her brothers, George Merkel of Corkland, Bob Merkel (Cynthia) of Mt. Vernon and Chris Cox (Jennifer) of Carlyle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
