He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul, Dorothy Lowery, Fred and Myrtle Poston; and his father-in-law George Russell.
He is survived by: his parents, Larry Poston and Kaye Poston (Lowery); his wife Cindy Poston (Russell); his sons, Robert Poston of Mount Vernon and Richard "Rick" Poston of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Blake Poston of Highland, Illinois, Shane Poston of Highland, Illinois and Laila Poston of Highland, Illinois; his siblings, Angie Blackford (Greg) of Mount Vernon and Ryan Poston (Blythe) of Maryville, Illinois; his mother-in-law Sue Russell of Bluford, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Angela "Jean" Barbee (Rick) of O'Fallon, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Randy's honor to the Poston Family, in care of Cindy Poston.
