He was predeceased by: his brother Larry; his father Richard (Mother Joy); his stepfather Carl Bell; his sister Libby Schofield; his children, Doris Louise Garretson, Steve Garretson and Eric Houser; his great grandchild Eleanor; his daughter-in-law Debbie Garretson; his parents-in-law, Fred Justice and Betty Justice; and his siblings-in-law, Jill Justice, John and Jeff Justice.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Dick Garretson (Sandra) of Waterloo, Marian Heuer of Swansea, Jessica Hall (Brett) of Mt, Jenny Kelly (Ben) of Phoenix, AZ and William Garretson (Amber) of Millington, TN; his daughter-in-law Maureen Garretson of Columbia, IL; his grandchildren, Sara Tex (Neal), Kristy Johnson (Andy), Elizabeth, Carly, Gracie, Slater, Caroline, Ellie, Molly, Finnegan and Waylon; and his great grandchildren, Rachel, Quinn, Audrey, Autumn, Summer, Dane and Sawyer.
