He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Markey and Alberta Markey (Murry); his stepfather Melvin Smith; his brothers, Tom and Larry Markey; and his son Scott Bergman.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jacoby-Fisk; his daughters, Dr. Alysta Sewell (Jason) of Mt. Vernon and Rev. Simone Morrow (EJ) of Mt. Vernon; his granddaughter Haley Sewell; and his sister Linda Gann of Carthage. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to Vietnam Veterans of America or Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the memorials.
