With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Lewis of Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sandra shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sandra farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Karraker and Maribel Karraker (Corzine); and her siblings, Gary Karraker and Karen Reininger. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Lewis (Christine) of Mt. Vernon and Angela Schrum (David) of Bluford; her grandchildren, Sarena Becker (Joey) of Mt. Vernon, Samantha Schrum, Louie Schrum of Bluford and Aslynn Braddy of Walnut Hill; her great grandchild Ainsley Jo Becker; her cousin Bradford Swink (Donnella) of Mulkeytown; and her nephews, Brandon Reininger (Carrie) of Decatur and David Karraker (Sarah) of Jacksonville.
