He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cooper and May Bell Cooper (Mather); his wife Helen Cooper (Crunk); his son James C. Cooper; his great grandchild Taylor Neleh Travis; and his siblings, Art, Harold, Lonnie, Pauline, Pearl, Susan, Rosetta, Cora, Lucille, Ruby, Clyde and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Perrin (Kevin) of Mount Vernon, Laura Cooper, John Williams of Mount Vernon, Alan Cooper (Joanie) of Mount Vernon and Chuck Branch (Debbie) of Kell, Illinois; and his sister Geneva Hulmuth. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Tom's honor to Oak Grove Cemetery.
