She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Brown; her children, Robert Brown Jr. (Sharon), Rodney Brown Sr. (Carmel) and Hilary Brown; her grandchildren, Chanda Rogers, Dacia Brown and Rodney Brown, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Arya and Alijah Rogers; her brothers, Douglas Coleman (Marlene) and Gerald Coleman (Tina); and her brother-in-law Floyd Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made in Veronica 's honor to Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon.
