He is survived by: his wife Laura; his sons, Joe Switzer (Tammy) of Bloomington, Jeff Switzer (Loretta) of Mount Vernon and John Switzer (Marilyn) of Flower Mound, Texas.; his grandchildren, Jake, Justen, Josh, Jordan and Lauren; his great grandchild Jayden; and his nieces, Marla Berger and Mary Nelle Douglas.

Memorials may be given in honor to Central Christian Church or Cave Hill Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864.
