With solemn reverence, we commemorate Timothy Gosnell of Mount Zion, Illinois, whose life came to an end on September 28, 2025 at the age of 69, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Gosnell and Virginia Gosnell (Gordon); his children, Nicholas and Erin; and his grandson Skyler.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Elliott; his daughters, Stacey Rohman of Mt. Zion and Melissa Gosnell of Decatur; his siblings, Doug Gosnell (Cathy) of Strausburg, IL and Amy Scranton (Mark) of Mt. Zion; and his grandchildren, Devin Gosnell-Roberts, Alexander Rohman, Payton Gosnell-Roberts, Andrew Rohman and Mikalyn Gosnell-Roberts.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Mt Zion, IL 62549). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Macon County Memorial Park (5700 W Main St, Decatur, IL 62522).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Tim's memory to the Mt. Zion Youth Softball, PO Box #50, Mt. Zion, IL 62549. (in the memo line: Dalton City softball diamond).
