She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Haris James and Mary Adeline Tippen; her husband Donald Van Hoose; her son Bobby Phillips; her son-in-law John Robinson; and her sisters, Joyce Moore, Melba Robbins, Ruby Shelby and Donna White.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Van Hoose II of Patoka, Illinois, Barbara Robinson, Betty Phillips and Brenda Walker; her grandchildren, Donald Van Hoose III, Shawn Willis, Dustin Van Hoose, Austin Van Hoose and Elizabeth Van Hoose (Jason Casey); and her great grandchild Aurora Willis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McInturff Cemetery.
