He was predeceased by : his mother Anna Dietz; his wife Eleanore Dietz; his father Albert Dietz Sr.; and also Anna Dietz. He is survived by : his siblings, Judith Dietz, Rosanne Plechaty, Donald Dietz (Mary), David Dietz (Mary), Kenneth Dietz (Mary) and Eugene Dietz (Vanessa); his stepsons, Bill and Jim Hingst; his nieces and nephews, Eric Dietz, Laura Pfister, Joan Engelbrecht (Mike), Mark Dietz, Thomas Totten (Christine), Sarah Nachreiner (Jason) and Luke Dietz; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jada Totten, Madeline Pfister, Shan Pfister, Cade Engelbrecht and Ava Engelbrecht.
