He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon Winckler and Emma Winckler; his brother Don; his siblings-in-law, Judy Pharr, Judy Van Gerpen, Helen Sell, Charles Sell, Clifford Zeeb and Virgil Kocmick; and his nephews, Dennis and Keith Kocmick.

He is survived by : his wife Janice Winckler; his children, Joy Edge (Gary) and Jeff Winckler (Deborah); his grandchildren, Aaryn Edge, Evelyn Edge-Schueller (Joe), Chance and Caitlin Winckler; and his brother Loren Winckler.
