He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Longstreth and Alvin Longstreth. He is survived by: his wife Maria-Viktoria Abricka; his son Nicholas; his daughter-in-law Jessica Longstreth; his granddaughter Athena Longstreth; and his siblings, Marcia Kearney, Alvina Johnson and Dennis Longstreth.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home (219 W Maple Ave, Mundelein, IL 60060). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
For many years up to his death, James Longstreth gave a sizeable donation to Diamond Lake School District 76 every year, with anonymity, to help implement programs that would support teachers and students in fanning the sparks of intellectual creativity.
