“Julie was truly a unique individual. She was a student in my Russian class for several years at Twin Cities Institute for Talented Youth in Minneapolis. As an Air Force Russian linguist myself, I always felt very proud of Julie’s military career, and the small role I may have played in her life. She made a point to find me, and let me know she made Major. I was deeply saddened to learn of her passing. She was absolutely my all-time favorite studen. My sincerest condolences to her family. I know how much you miss her. Larry Jetzer”
