He is survived by: his wife Maria Galan; his children, Arturo Santos Galan (Deneill), Nick Galan (Adriana) and Dubelsa Villarreal (Xavier); his grandchildren, Zakia Patrick (DaiSean), Sadora Galan, Briana Galan, Juan Tellez (Alejandra), Alex Galan (America), Arturo Galan, Tony Galan, Xavier Villarreal Jr. and Dylan Villarreal; and his great grandchildren, Zakhia Patrick, DaiSean Patrick Jr., DaiVon Patrick, Ayden Horton, Angel Tellez, Aitiana Tellez and Salvador Tellez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
