He was predeceased by : his parents, Tom Sr. Higgins and Ann Marie Higgins. He is survived by : his children, Brian, Peter (Heidi), Lauren Sullivan, Joe (Jenny), Mary, Tom IV (Ramune), Conor (Katherine), Ryan and Brendan (Cath); his siblings, Brian and Melissa; his brother-in-law Roger; his wife Steph; and his grandchildren, Karolina, Viktoria, Tom, Shea and Finn Kai. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kristan Funeral Home (219 W Maple Ave, Mundelein, IL 60060). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Annunciation Catholic Church (22333 W Erhart Rd, Mundelein, IL 60060).
