She was predeceased by : her parents, James F. Baron Sr. and Christie H. Baron; her husband John; her grandson Alex Blouch; and her siblings, Patricia Flynn and James F. Baron Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Donna Blouch, David Shore, Debra Shore, Daniel Shore (Terri Fertel), Diane Marzigliano (Joe) and Dawn Dahl (Rick); her grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah), Emily, Nicole (Ron), Amanda, Carlie, Michael, Nicholas, Alyssa, Jake and Nick; her great grandchildren, Ava, Nolan, Daxton, Sara, Sophie and Zaira; her sister Sandy Czerwinski (late Robert Ringelstein); and her nephew Bobby Ringelstein. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Valerie at the National Association of the Deaf or the American Heart Association.
