It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Daehler of Mundelein, Illinois, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Daehler and Max Daehler; his brother Max; and his sister-in-law Heidi Daehler. He is survived by : his wife Rosalie Daehler; his children, Walter "Rocky" Daehler, Jr. (Laura), Margaret M. Smidt (Douglas) and Daniel O. Daehler (Jessica); his grandchildren, Rocky III, Katie, Jacob, David, Anna, Isabella and Penelope; and his brother Mark Daehler (Ilse).
