With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Jones of Murphysboro, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer W. Jones and Elizabeth Flaningam Jones; her sister-in-law Sharon Jones; and her nephew Thomas W. Jones. She is survived by: her brother Thomas H. Jones (Deborah); her nieces, Laura A. James (Greg) and Amanda G. Hine (Jamie); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley, Grant, Madison Hine and Garrett James; her great-stepnephew Josh James (Erin); and her stepsibling's children, Adam Roe, Mary Beth Roe Munson (Eric) and Jennifer Cornwell (Jeff). She is also survived by her family and many lifelong friends.
