She is survived by: her children, Ruth Hastings of San Francisco, Nancy Schumacher (Andy) of San Anselmo and Tim Hastings (Ginny) of West Frankfort; her grandchildren, Craig Jessup, Anne Vana (Isaac) and Laurel Sink (Preston); her great grandchildren, Felix, Arrow, Emme, Hudson and Laurel; and her friend Sharilyn Grammer of Christopher.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
