It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Jo Amschler (Murphysboro, Illinois), who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ted Hart and Hazel Johnson Hart; her husband Raymond John Amschler; her daughter Debbie Jo Hale; her granddaughter Robin Carroll (Amschler); her sister Shirley; her brother-in-law Edward Clayton; her parents-in-law, Hilda and John Amschler; her brother Fletcher; her siblings-in-law, Bernice Chadwick and Bob Dean; her brother Elroy; and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Borrenpohl and Lawrence Amschler.
She is survived by : her sons, Steven Amschler of Cape Girardeau, MO, Daniel Amschler of Murphysboro, IL and Michael Amschler of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Christian Hale (Marcy), Ryan Hale (Tonya), Abbey Jo Kokic (Michael), John Amschler (Sarah), Dr. Jodie Meara (John) and Daniel Ray Amschler (Vicki); and her sister-in-law Velma Dean (Amschler). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Our Savior Lutheran Church, Carbondale or the Murphysboro Food Pantry Arrangements have been entrusted to Crain Funeral Home.
