He was predeceased by: his parents, Finis Lewis and Thelma Lewis (Pool); his grandson Corey Lee Mason; his former spouses, Frances Varner Lewis and Shirley Penrod Lewis; his sister Janie Hufnagel; his son-in-law Jonathan Mason; and his brother-in-law Bob Stephenson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Lewis (Susan), Lisa Neace (Don), James Lewis (Pamela), Kelly Mason and Johnny Lewis (Linda); and his siblings, Sue Stephenson and Mickey Lewis (Judy). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many great great-grandchildren.
