He is survived by: his children, David L. Pugh (Karen) of Murphysboro, IL, Dennis L. Pugh (Vera) of O'Fallon, IL, Dr. Darrell L. Pugh (Fran) of The Villages, FL and Deborah L. Pugh of Dupo, IL; his grandchildren, Heath, Nick Riley, Jessica Hodge (Mike), Nathan Stahl (Emily), Christina McGee (Brad), Ben Pugh (Amber), Kim Pugh (William), Leslie Gomez (Laurent) and Erin Pugh (Cortez Owens); his great grandchildren, Cayden, Averie, Lennon, Sloane Stahl, Keaton, Brynn Hodge, Callie, Allison McGee, Hayden Surgeon, Brysen Clover, Aiden, Elise Gomez, Griffen Judd Pugh, Desmond Owens, Chloey and Caroline Pugh; and his sister Judy Civello of Florida.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at 137 Murdale Gardens Rd, Murphysboro, IL 62966.
